It shows that the grindability of raw ore directly affects the grinding efficiency of ball mill. Therefore, in the production, when the raw ore is difficult to grind and the particle size requirements are fine, we can in the case of economic and site permit, take certain measures to enhance the grinding degree of raw ore, such as adding chemical agents in the grinding process to increase the grinding efficiency; Or from the raw ore grinding degree of efforts: heating the minerals in the raw ore, reduce hardness. 2, more grinding and less grinding, reduce the ball mill into the grinding size The larger the grinding size, the greater the work of the ball mill on the ore, the grinding efficiency of the ball mill will naturally be affected. In order to achieve qualified grinding fineness, the ball mill workload is bound to increase, energy consumption will also increase. If you want to reduce the size of the feed, it requires small particle size of the broken product, that is, "more crushing and less grinding", so that the feed size is appropriate, the grinding efficiency of the ball mill will be improved. 3. Keep the appropriate Steel Ball filling rate When the ball mill keeps a certain speed, the higher the ball filling rate is, the more times the material is hit, the greater the grinding area will increase, and the grinding efficiency of the ball mill will increase correspondingly, but the energy consumption is also large. However, if the steel ball filling rate is too high, it is easy to change the motion state of the steel ball, but reduce the impact effect on the large particle material. In production practice, most mines will set the filling rate at 45%~50%, but this is only a rough range, because the actual conditions of each plant are different, blindly copying will not achieve the ideal grinding efficiency, it depends on the situation. 4. Add steel balls reasonably In the long running process, the mutual grinding between the ball mill and the ore will cause the wear of the ball to a certain extent, resulting in the change of the ratio of different sizes of the ball, resulting in the change of the fineness of the grinding products, and then affect the grinding efficiency of the ball mill. Therefore, the operator of the ball mill needs to check the ball situation regularly and add the ball reasonably to ensure the stable production of the ball mill. 5. Strictly control the grinding concentration of ball mill Generally, the grinding concentration will affect the proportion of pulp, slurry fluidity and the adhesion of ore particles to the steel ball. The grinding concentration is low, the pulp flow is fast, the material is not easy to stick around the steel ball, weaken the impact and grinding effect on the material, resulting in unqualified ore size, ball mill grinding efficiency is not high; The grinding concentration is high, the material is easy to be around the steel ball, enhancing the impact and grinding effect on the material, but the pulp flow is slow, easy to cause overgrinding. In the production practice, the grinding concentration can be controlled by controlling the feed amount and water amount of the ball mill, or adjusting and controlling the particle size composition and water content in the grading sand return, so as to help improve the grinding efficiency of the ball mill. 6. Optimize the grinding process of ball mill According to the ore properties of raw ore (useful mineral disseminated particle size, monomer degree of liberation, gangue mineral disseminated particle size) to optimize the grinding process, such as pre-tailing, pre-enrichment, stage grinding, pre-classification, on the one hand to reduce the amount of grinding, on the other hand, timely recovery of useful minerals, can improve the grinding efficiency of the ball mill. 7. Improve grading efficiency The effect of grading efficiency on grinding efficiency is self-evident.
